So for my non-BuzzFeed "friends", here's the situation: I'm like 50 years older than everybody else who works at BF. It's all I can do to keep from screaming GET OFF MY LAWN! every day at these punks and punkettes. And what makes it even MORE frustrating is that these kids are whip-smart reporters, writers, viral content finders, developers, designers, creatives, editors, etc. (Jonah Peretti, Jon Steinberg, Ben Smith, Scott Lamb, I'm not kissing ass here. You all have gotten to know me enough to know that I am as far from a Yes Man as there is in the human scope.) The fucking kid, Ryan Broderick, who sits across from me, and is 12 years-old, knows more about the last 100 years of pop culture/history, than I do. I fucking hate it there.
